Autism Notebook Connections Conference

March 7, 2020 - PROPOSAL SUBMISSION

We are accepting "Proposals to Present" for the South Florida Autism Notebook Connections Conference to be held on March 7, 2020.

We will have one keynote speaker and up to 18 presenters.

Although the date has passed, we accept proposals up until February 5th since we have found ourselves to add sessions when important topics are presented to us.  

Professional must have experience in presenting.

Submissions should include high quality proposals, “how to” strategies, evidence-based research as often as possible and presentations addressing a full range of issues facing individuals living with autism and their families. We also encourage presenters of all backgrounds to apply. 

PLEASE NOTE: all presentations must meet our guidelines:

  • Prepared to last between 45 minute in presentation with time for Q&A in the session

  • Informative and educational

  • Directed to a PARENT audience    
  • No self promoting

  • Not geared to a product or service that you sell or offer. However if you have a book by    AAPC or JPK, then we have a partnership and will discuss what options you have to        supply your book.

  • No promotion materials at the presentation (must be executed at a vendor table only) 

By submitting this form, you agree that Autism Notebook Magazine, Parent Notebook Magazine Inc. reserves the right to record any portion of your presentation at the Autism Notebook Connections Conference for possible reproduction and distribution of Autism Notebook Network, Autism Education Foundation or Teacher Network, for current or future use in multimedia without charge. You also agree to provide copies of presentation materials in an electronic format, for inclusion on the conference syllabus (program guide) two weeks prior to the conference date.  We do not compensate speakers for the speaking engagement or travel expenses (unless keynote or an arrangement had been made).

Lunch will be provided at the conference for all speakers if they choose to stay during lunch.

YOUR PRESENTATION:
Plan your presentation for a maximum of 45 minutes in time. Below list 3-5 MAIN LEARNING OBJECTIVES to be covered/explored during your presentation.

 

Depending on your experience,  you may be asked to submit a short intro video by using your smart phone, ipad/tablet or whatever works for you, and share a little about yourself, explain your presentation and goals and action steps parents will walk away with 2 minutes. But we will reach out to you for that--or just do a zoom call if necessary.
